Pink Martini founder Thomas M. Lauderdale, in collaboration with Oregon surf music legends Satan’s Pilgrims, have shared a new single, “Night and Day,” off their forthcoming album Thomas Lauderdale Meets The Pilgrims. The LP is buoyed by Lauderdale’s sparkling piano fireworks atop the Pilgrims' iconic surf sound.

Signature Songs includes stripped-down and unique takes on songs from across Russell’s remarkable canon, from the GRAMMY® Hall of Fame classic, “A Song For You,” to his own classic hits, “Tight Rope,” “Stranger In A Strange Land,” “The Masquerade” and “Lady Blue.” The album was originally released in 2001 and is long out-of-print.

Oldies But Goodies was the title of a series of long-play record albums that began in 1959, with the idea to make available again favourite songs from earlier years. That is exactly what Craig Morrison’s 23rd annual Roots of Rock & Roll Concert, Oldies But Goodies from the 1960s & ’70s aims to do.

The Beach Boys members Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, Mike Love, David Marks, and Brian Wilson are featured guests. In addition to the musical performances, the special features appearances by Drew Carey, Tom Hanks, Jimmy Jam, Elton John, Harvey Mason jr., Bruce Springsteen, and John Stamos. Performers include John Legend, Pentatonix, and more.

The Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts, centrally located on the Melbourne Campus of Eastern Florida State College, is poised to celebrate its 35th year of operation on the Space Coast of Florida. With exciting shows and special events planned for this year, it promises to be one of the best yet and the King Center would like to invite you to “Our Space, Your Place!”

Acclaimed duo The Cactus Blossoms, Minneapolis-based brothers Page Burkum and Jack Torrey, have announced a batch of spring dates, including Seattle's Wintergrass Festival later this month, headline dates in the Midwest and two sold-out shows with Sierra Ferrell.

Larry Rivera, a legendary fixture of Kauai, Hawaii whose career spanned over seven decades and who worked alongside Elvis Presley in ‘Blue Hawaii’ has passed away at the age of 92. Also known as “Mr. Coco Palms,” Rivera was a key fixture of Kauai’s entertainment culture where he started his career in the 50s.

Ice Theatre of New York will present a Pop-Up City Skate Concert at Wollman Rink on February 2, 2023 at 6:30pm in Central Park. (Rain date February 9.)

Ruth Stage has announced that two-time Tony Award nominee Alison Fraser (The Secret Garden) will reprise her role as ‘Big Mama’, as well as announcing the complete casting for their provocative and controversial modern staging of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

On January 29, 1993, the Lowcountry entertainment scene changed forever. On this date, the North Charleston Coliseum first opened its doors.

The special will feature music stars, actors and artists Carly Pearce, Vince Gill, Kelsea Ballerini, Ketch Secor, Keb’ Mo’, Charles Esten, Emmylou Harris, The Beach Boys’ Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, the late Leslie Jordan and more telling their own personal anecdotes about the venue and what it’s meant to them and their careers. 

The archives of The Ed Sullivan Show have opened again to share rare vintage performances by Louis Armstrong. As dear friends who traveled together, were both born in the same year (1901), and had a great mutual respect, it is believed that Ed Sullivan himself lent these clips to Louis Armstrong and Universal Music Enterprises. Their personal genre designation is as much inspired by their hometown of Franklin, Tenn., as their new album The Cannonballers is: within 11 tracks, the band delves into where they come from.

GRAMMY award-winning producer and artist Malik Baptiste kicks off a new chapter and releases his new single “All You Need To Know,” featuring GRAMMY nominated, Iranian Swedish-born singer Snoh Aalegra. The track tightly packages Baptiste’s upbringing in Texas and the singular experiences that shaped him into the genre-defying talent he is now.
