Culture Lab LIC has announced the slate of programming for their 2024 season which will include several visual arts exhibits, theatrical performances, late night drag and burlesque shows, and a free outdoor live music concert series.

The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW) announced that its 2023 Rachel Crothers Leadership Award® will be given to Anna Deavere Smith, multi-award-winning playwright, actress, professor, and author.

In Scena! Italian Theater Festival NY has announced Andrea Cioffi's play Apartment 2B (Appartamento 2B) as the 2022 Mario Fratti Award winner. The award ceremony will take place May 4th 2022 at 6PM at the Italian Cultural Institute in NY (686 Park Avenue, NY).

Exquisite Corpse Company's month long festival of new work opened August 2nd and runs through August 26th.  The two plays currently running in rep (pictured here) include Phillip Christian Smith's The Chechens and Blake Bishton's Buffalo Buffalo.  The two plays run through August 12th.  Next to open include Alexis Roblan's Liliya and Alisa Zhulina's Kill Joy.
