Long Wharf Theatre announced today additional details for fall programming at 222 Sargent Drive as part of Act 1 of its 2022-2023 season. Dignity, Always Dignity will be presented on September 10 and 11, while performances for Jelly’s Last Jam will take place on September 17 and 18.

Sydney James Harcourt, a Grammy Award-winning Broadway performer and film and television star, will appear in the title role of Othello at the 2022 Interlochen Shakespeare Festival. Performances are July 1 & 2 and July 8 & 9 at 8 p.m. in the Upton-Morley Pavilion at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

With Karen Ziemba and Deborah Grace Winer leading the way, the premiere instalment of SONGBOOK SUNDAYS is a mass of musical fire and ice.

Interlochen Arts Academy's end-of-year multidisciplinary showcase of student performances and presentations will be livestreamed from the Interlochen website Wednesday, May 26, through Friday, May 28.

The Grammy Award-winning Broadway performer and film and television star Sydney James Harcourt will address graduating students at the 2021 Interlochen Arts Academy Commencement. The graduation ceremony will take place at Interlochen's Kresge Auditorium on Saturday, May 29, at 10 a.m., and will be livestreamed at live.interlochen.org. 

The new series will feature five virtual master classes for young artists in grades 8-12 led by distinguished Interlochen faculty. Each session will include live teaching as well as an interactive Q&A where participants can submit questions. Members of the public can register for a class in advance for $25. 

Actress Renée Elise Goldsberry, who plays Angelica Schuyler, and Leslie Odom Jr., who plays Aaron Burr, take the audience “Behind the Scene” of this show about Alexander Hamilton’s rise from one of the Founding Fathers of the United States to his fatal duel with Aaron Burr.
