Since it first opened in London in June 1973 at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs, Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show has become the world's favourite Rock 'N' Roll musical, having been performed worldwide for 45 years in more than 30 countries and translated into over 20 languages.

Rehearsal images have been released for next month's revival of true crime drama The Exonerated at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester.

The Rocky Horror Show continues to play to packed houses as it tours the length and breadth of the UK throughout 2019 featuring a wealth of star performers. More than 100,000 people have seen the show during the tour and there are no signs of this incredible cast slowing down.

Without remaining in the slipstream of the film festivals out of which Melbourne Documentary Film Festival extracts some of its highlights (TIFF, Tribeca, Hot Docs, DOC NYC, and such likes), the fourth edition of this young though quite well-known film event in the circuit promises also to add again its own line-up of discoveries. Nine feature documentaries picked up by Netflix, while other nine Feature documentaries that became Oscar eligible were screened previously at MDFF. Only 2018 saw 4 feature documentaries of its official selection make the Oscar longlist, one of the highest of any documentary-only film festival in Australia.

An exciting cast of experienced stage and screen performers - who will appear both in person and in integrated filmed footage - has been announced for the forthcoming northern premiere of The Exonerated at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester.

I had the pleasure of seeing A Bronx Tale with my friend Cassy, who had NEVER seen a musical before! (I know, right?!) I invited Cassy because the 1993 movie, off which the musical is based, is her favorite. Seriously, her cat is named Calogero, after the lead character in both the movie and the play. I was excited to see this show, and especially excited to see it through the eyes of a neophyte theater goer. I was not disappointed!

Alice Phoebe Lou has teamed up with hugely influential YouTube channel Majestic Casual who inspired Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, to collaborate in the creation of a live session of Lou's song 'Galaxies' from her most recent album Paper Castles. In 1982, Extremities, by playwright William Mastrosimone, premiered at Westside Arts in New York starring Susan Sarandon, and later the play was adapted into a movie starring Farrah Fawcett, the final actress to play the role of Marjorie in the Broadway production.

The story was rebuilt into musical and was first put on London's West End. We can now proudly present the 'Witches in Eastwick' on Circus this fall which is something very unique in its kind, never before has this award-winning musical been made in Sweden. The premiere is on September 19th at Circus in Stockholm.
