On Tuesday, April 20, at the quarterly board of trustees meeting, Dr. Susan H. Edwards, Executive Director and CEO of the Frist Art Museum since 2004, notified the board members of her plans to retire within the year. The museum's board will now begin the process of selecting her successor.

Broadway favorite Teri Bibb (The Phantom of the Opera, She Loves Me) has joined the cast of Twisted Broadway 3, the third annual Theatre LA Cares fundraiser, this year in support of Red Cross Australia animal rescue, it was announced today by producer Susan Grace. Hosted by Jason Graae (Forever Plaid, Ragtime, Wicked) with musical direction by Jan Roper and directed by Linda Kerns, show time is 8pm on Tuesday, March 10, at Feinstein's at Vitello's in Studio City.

Theatre LA Cares has announced the third annual Twisted Broadway fundraiser, this year in support of Red Cross Australia animal rescue. When I attend a cabaret show, I look for great talent and the ability of a performer to relate to the audience with warmth and humor. I've become a real snob about these things. A knockout singer and comic actress, Martin in some ways, might be considered the female Jason Graae. She's just funny, pure and simple. Accompanying her at the piano for the hour set was Sam Kriger, who comedically got into the act himself.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts announces the eleventh year of the Literature Live!program. This year's Literature Live! production will be Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun, directed by Lydia Fort.
