Florida Studio Theatre (FST) is proud to announce that the National New Play Network (NNPN) has awarded the theatre $10,000 to support a new collaboration with Milagro Theatre, based in Portland, OR, as well as with California-based playwright Bernardo Cubría.

Tickets are still available for Howard County's signature arts event, the Celebration of the Arts in Howard County. The Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Peter and Elizabeth Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center, Howard Community College, Columbia, MD.

Wagner College Theatre has announced that the winner of the 2022 Stanley Drama Award is Luke Yankee for his play Marilyn, Mom and Me.

The Tank, in partnership with The Flying Carpet Theatre Company, announced the return of a special production of Crystal Skillman’s magical play OPEN, featuring the original direction of Jessi D. Urbanite Theatre will begin its 2022/23 Season with a twisted and inventive dark comedy, The Burdens by Matt Schatz. The Burdens, directed by Urbanite Theatre Artistic Director Brendan Ragan, will follow a set of clumsy siblings plotting to address a problematic grandfather. The production runs October 22 - December 4, 2022.

Based on a true story, Enough of Him explores the life of Joseph Knight, an African man enslaved by plantation owner Sir John Wedderburn and brought to Scotland to serve in his Perthshire mansion.

Toronto's ARC theatre company has announced its first show of 2023: the Canadian premiere of MARTYR by Marius von Mayenburg (translated by Maja Zade), directed by Co-Artistic Producer Rob Kempson. MARTYR will run at the Aki Studio Theatre, Daniel's Spectrum, from January 13 to 29, 2023. Opening night is January 14.
