WMI celebrates its 38th year in NYC with sixteen performances featuring artists from over a dozen countries.

St. Louis’ Winter Opera opened its sixteenth season with a vocally brilliant production of Verdi’s Macbeth.

Produced by Stubbs and engineered by Colemine owner Terry Cole, the band blasts out of the gate playing Harold Burrages’ I Cry For You, before tearing into Little Walter’s obscure gem My Baby’s Sweeter. The previously unrecorded original Hold It One More Time proves to be an instant classic, sitting next to the vintage covers on the album.

Produced by Parker Cason and mixed by Vance Powell (Chris Stapleton, Jack White, Phish) and Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Tom Waits, Shania Twain), People Talk finds Morrow exploring her beyond-country influences like 90s Alternative, Britpop, and 80s New Wave bands with moody, brutally honest lyrical content and rock n roll attitudes.

MadonnaThe Madonna biopic that was set to star Julia Garner is no longer in development. After an intense audition process, reportedly involving a 'Madonna Boot Camp,' actress Julia Garner had won the starring role. Other actresses in the running were Florence Pugh, Alexa Demie, Bebe Rexha, and more.

Across the 18 tracks, the trio addresses love, friendship and time with lyrics both poetic and plain-spoken, as they see bridges built, crossed, burned and rebuilt. Recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A, the album was produced by longtime collaborator Eric Valentine (Queens of the Stone Age, Grace Potter, Weezer) and features Mike Elizondo on bass.

The winners of the 2022 Sydney Theatre Awards were announced on 23 January 2023 at a star-studded ceremony, with 30 Awards presented, shared between 18 productions which played on Sydney stages during 2022.
