Robert Ellis Announces New Album 'Yesterday's News'

Coming off his raucous 2019 album Texas Piano Man, Ellis is changing course and embracing a raw minimalist approach that prizes patience and restraint above all else. He also shared the stunning video for the title track “Yesterday’s News,” a wry tune that drifts like a cloud on the breeze as he channels a washed up singer on some dimly lit stage.

THE TIME TRAVELLER'S WIFE: THE MUSICAL Will Open in the West End in October

The world premiere production of The Time Traveller's Wife: The Musical, based on the best-selling novel by Audrey Niffenegger and the New Line Cinema film screenplay by Bruce Joel Rubin, will open at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End, following a sold-out season at Storyhouse in Chester in October 2022.

LA LA LAND Broadway Musical In the Works Directed By Bartlett Sher

Marc Platt has announced that La La Land will be adapted into a Broadway musical directed by Bartlett Sher. The musical will feature music from the film's composer, Justin Hurwitz and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The book will be written by Ayad Akhtar and Matthew Decker. 

Albert King's 'Born Under A Bad Sign' Set For April Reissue

The single also served as the title track to King’s debut LP with Stax. Released in August 1967, Born Under a Bad Sign compiled the above-mentioned singles, plus originals like “The Hunter,” (penned by Booker T. & The M.G.’s, and Carl Wells), “Personal Manager,” (by King and David Porter), and King’s own “Down Don’t Bother Me.”

St. Paul & The Broken Bones to Release New Album 'Angels in Science Fiction'
