I’ve been lucky enough to see it twice over the past two months, and even knowing all of the twists and turns, the second performance ended up being just as entertaining, if not more, than the first! Recently, I had the opportunity to interview Chris Lanceley, who plays “Jonathan” in the off-Broadway production of The Play That Goes Wrong at New World Stages.

At the time of performance, The Play That Goes Wrong will have played 27 previews and 745 performances on Broadway and 9 previews and 453 performances Off-Broadway.

The producers of the international hit comedy The Play That Goes Wrong have announced the cast for the New York production, which will resume performances on the Tony Award winning set at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) on Friday, October 15, 2021.

Six weeks of enthusiastic fundraising erupted into two extraordinary performances of lighthearted parodies, inspiring calls-to-action and exceptional dance at this year's Red Bucket Follies. The show, which was performed December 9 and 10, 2019, celebrated the 58 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies that participated in fall fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
