WarnerMedia has ordered 'Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai,' a 10-episode, half-hour prequel to original 'Gremlins.'

The masters of modern magic Penn & Teller will bring their record-breaking Las Vegas live show to Australia for the very first time in January 2020 for eight performances in the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.

Broadway's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, is currently in its third record-smashing year at the Music Box Theatre. Following the success of the Broadway production, a national tour launched soon after, bringing the story across North America. A sit-down production made its way to Toronto earlier this year, and will be followed by a West End production set to debut in October 2019 at the Noel Coward Theatre.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Broadway veteran Andrew Kober will take over as 'Don Kirshner' in Broadway's Beautiful starting July 16. Kober steps in for Paul Anthony Stewart, who will return to the show on Tuesday, September 3.

In its eighth iteration, Island Theatre brings to the stage ten of the best short plays penned by Kitsap County playwrights for a three day festival of live performances at Bainbridge Performing Arts. The plays have been selected from over sixty submissions by a blind judging panel of theatre professionals. Plays will be helmed by ten local directors and cast with over two dozen local actors.

Orlando Shakes in partnership with UCF's season-opener, Evita, featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics and book by Tim Rice, runs from September 4 - October 6, 2019. The creators of OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT released a new cold open today inspired by this week's first 2020 Democratic debates for the upcoming episode on Sunday, June 30 at 8PM ETPT on SHOWTIME, including cartoon versions of Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Beto O'Rourke, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar. In less than 12 following the debates, the episode intro was written, recorded, and animated.
