Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is hosting the next performance in the new stand-up comedy series presented by Prayer Dudz – Stand-Up Tuesdays.

Tony Award-winning star of stage and screen John Cameron Mitchell (Sandman, Hedwig and the Angry Inch), one of alt-culture's boldest creators, joins forces with international cabaret star Amber Martin in rare downtown appearance with a brand new evening of songs, stories and characters, all chosen by the hand of fate on the 'cassette roulette.' Backed by Justin Craig and the Hedwig house band Tits of Clay, and featuring opening set from J. Hoard, it's never the same show twice!

Invincible – the Musical world premieres November 30, 2022, at The Wallis (with previews beginning November 22nd). Tiffany Nichole Greene directs this reimagining of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet weaving in the catalogue of hit songs of Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo. I managed to catch Bradley Bredeweg, the book author of Invincible, between his multi-tasking of juggling multiple commitments.

Skylight Music Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for A Jolly Holiday: Celebrating Disney’s Broadway Hits, running November 18 – December 31, 2022.

If you missed it last time, here’s your chance: Latina Christmas Special, an American comedy of Latina proportions, will return to New York City for a limited seven-performance run filled with laughs, more laughs, music and escándalo (scandal). Performances take place December 7 through December 11 at the SoHo Playhouse.

Student RUSH tickets have been announced for Opera Orlando's production of Mozart's The Magic Flute this weekend, presented in the new Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. RUSH tickets are discounted to $15 and will be available two hours before showtime at the Dr. Phillips Center Box Office for both Friday and Sunday performances.

On every first Wednesday of the month, settle in for an evening of laugh-out-loud comedy during SOPAC’s Laughs in the Loft, a stand-up series featuring several comedians in a New York City-style showcase.
