GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics kicked off Pride Month by bestowing Prince Faggot and Ragtime top honors in the group’s fourth annual Dorian Theater Awards.

The best of Broadway and off-Broadway were on hand at the Ziegfeld Ballroom to celebrate 92nd Annual Drama League Awards, hosted by Emmy Award winner Frank DiLella. Check out a full list of winners here.

The Bushwick Starr, HERE Arts Center, and Ma-Yi Theater Company production of Rheology will come to Playwrights Horizons in April. Written and directed by Shayok Misha Chowdhury, performances will run April 14 - May 16, 2026.

REDCAT will introduce a Winter/Spring 2026 season featuring new work in dance, theatre, opera, music, and visual art. The season highlights REDCAT’s continued investment in contemporary creation and boundary-pushing artistic development.

Prince Faggot and Slam Frank are two of the most talked-about productions of the season so far—and both were initially inspired by tweets on the platform now known as X. 

Due to demand, Studio Seaview’s presentation of Jesse Eisenberg’s The Ziegfeld Files, directed by Shayok Misha Chowdhury, is adding three more performances. The new performances are set for December 7 at 3pm and 7pm, and December 8 at 7pm.

A third and final extension has been revealed for Jordan Tannahill’s hit play Prince Faggot, now running in Seaview’s new Off-Broadway home. Prince Faggot transferred to Studio Seaview in September.

The Entertainment Community Fund and Playwrights Horizons announced that Grammy-nominated artist Rona Siddiqui is the 2025 recipient of The Mark O’Donnell Prize,.
