The Coronet Theatre Announces Autumn/Winter Season

The Coronet Theatre's Autumn/Winter season is a presentation of multi-disciplinary modern stage-based art, with a spotlight on dance and movement related theatre forms, and an exceptional poetry strand. As always, the season offers inventive hybrid international work, showcasing performance from Europe to Asia.

California post-punk outfit FEARING follow their 2020 debut LP Shadow with their sophomore LP Destroyer set for release in September.  Destroyer sees the core trio fostering their sound by continuing to migrate towards the sonic realms that capture the fine equilibrium allying the somber, austere, the vigorous, and vibrant.

I teasingly have been calling this 1776 - THE FOUNDING MOTHERS EDITION all week, and it is finally here at the Hobby Center brought in by Theatre Under the Stars. This is a New York cast hitting Houston for a three night stop of a national tour. My question is, does it really make that much of a statement? The script for the show remains what it has been since 1776 debuted on Broadway back in 1969.
