DI MEGILEH to Run 3/6-10 at JCC East Bay

The Yiddish Theater Collective in collaboration with KlezCalifornia and the 29th Jewish Music Festival willpresent the West Coast Premiere of Itzik Manger's Purim musical, Di Megileh, long beloved by Israeli and New York audiences for its catchy songs, sparkling humor, political satire and the tale of star-crossed lovers. Performances will be given at the JCC East Bay on March 6 & 8 at 8 pm, March 9 at 2 pm, and Monday March 10 at 1 pm.

THE LOVE LIST to Open 2014 Season at the Old Opera House, 2/7

It's the perfect date night show, just in time for Valentine's Day! The Love List, by Norm Foster, is set to open at the Old Opera House in Charles Town, WV on February 7. Directed by D.C. Cathro, this new thought-provoking comedy is perfect for singles and couples alike.

New York Theatre Workshop Extends WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? Through 2/16

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker have announced that What's It All About? Bacharach Reimagined will extend two additional weeks through Sunday, February 16, 2014 at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. The musical had originally been scheduled to run through January 5 and then, following rave reviews and strong box office, received a four-week extension through February 2.

Bacharach Reimagined, music by Burt Bacharach; lyrics by Hal David and others; musical arrangements by Kyle Riabko; conceived by Kyle Riabko and David Lane Seltzer; directed by Steven Hoggett, will extend four weeks through Sunday, February 2, at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. What's It All About? had originally been scheduled to run throughSunday, January 5, 2014.

I LOVE LUCY National Tour Brings its Brand of Nostalgia to Boston

More than six decades after their television debut on CBS, Lucy and Ricky Ricardo have had quite a run. Named by People Magazine as the 'Best TV Show of All Time' and the 'Greatest TV Comedy,' I LOVE LUCY receives the stage treatment in an adaptation by Kim Flagg and Rick Sparks. Their two choices to replicate, from the canon of 181 episodes, leave something to be desired, but they give it their all to honor a legend.

Burt Bacharach to Appear at Opening of WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? at NYTW, 12/5

On opening night of the New York Theatre Workshop production of the world premiere of What's It All About? Bacharach Reimagined, Burt Bacharach will perform on stage with the cast at the end of the performance. The opening is set for this Thursday, December 5, 2013.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre to Present THE SANTALAND DIARIES, 12/6-29

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) is proud to present the cult holiday classic, The Santaland Diaries, adapted by Joe Mantello from the essay by humorist and best selling author David Sedaris. Sedaris' hilarious account of his time as an elf in Macy's Santaland display will run every Thursday through Sunday at Maryland Ensemble Theatre from December 6 through 29.

Opening night is set for Thursday, December 5 at pm. What's It All About? is scheduled to run through Sunday, January 5, 2014.
