Lantern Theater Company continues its 2019/20 season with the Philadelphia premiere of The Last Match, a funny and moving drama from award-winning playwright Anna Ziegler. Lantern resident director M. Craig Getting directs a cast that includes Joanna Liao, Scott Miller, Lee Minora, and Matteo Scammell. Theater critics and members of the press are invited to request press comps for opening night on Wednesday, November 13 at 7 p.m. by contacting Anne Shuff at ashuff@lanterntheater.org. Second Stage Theater (Carole Rothman, President and Artistic Director; Casey Reitz, Executive Director) has announced Ben McKenzie (Ben) will complete the cast of Bess Wohl's GRAND HORIZONS. The production will mark his Broadway debut.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Linda Vista, by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tracy Letts (August: Osage County), concludes its Broadway run today, November 10, at the Hayes Theatre.

Artisan Children's Theater proudly presents ANNIE JR. at its 148 seat Second Stage facility. The theater is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. The show runs Friday, November 15, 2019 through Saturday, December 21, 2019. Performances are Fridays at 5:00pm and Saturdays at 10:00am and 12:00pm. Additional 12:00pm performances on December 10 and 17, and additional 10am and 12pm performances December 20. No 5pm performance December 20. Bergen County Players, one of America's longest-running little theater companies, will kick off its new Second Stage season with a limited engagement of Ernest Thompson's ANSWERS, a duo of hilarious one-act comedies. Under the direction of Matthew Blum, ANSWERS will run November 9th and 10th at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell. Show times will be Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 7pm. ACT (A Contemporary Theater) of Connecticut has announced that Derek Klena, star of Alanis Morissette's highly anticipated new musical, JAGGED LITTLE PILL, will join ACT's Resident Music Supervisor, Bryan Perri, on December 16, 2019 for the Broadway Unplugged Series!

The IAMA Theatre Company will present a staged reading of Peabody Award-winning composer Matthew Puckett's The Evergreen as part of the 2019 New Works Fest. Directed by IAMA Theatre Artistic Director, Stefanie Black, the reading will take place at the Los Angeles Theater Center (514 S. Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA) on Sunday, November 17 at 8 PM. Out of the Box Theatrics' Founding Artistic Director, Liz Flemming announced today that Tony Award-winner Alice Ripley will lead the cast of a limited NYC engagement of Sybillie Pearson (book), Richard Maltby, Jr. (lyrics) and David Shire's(music) heart-warming musical, BABY. ADAMS will make his Broadway debut opposite the previously announced Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jesse Williams in the Broadway production of Richard Greenberg's Tony Award-winning play, TAKE ME OUT. Directed by Scott Ellis, TAKE ME OUT will begin previews April 2, 2020 and officially open on April 23, 2020 at Second Stage's Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street). Mr. Adams will play Kippy Sunderstrom, the best friend of Darren Lemming (Jesse Williams).

La Jolla Playhouse announces the cast and creative team for its upcoming presentation of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival production of Cambodian Rock Band, by UC San Diego MFA Playwriting alumna Lauren Yee, directed by Chay Yew, featuring music by Dengue Fever. A co-production with Portland Center Stage at The Armory, Cambodian Rock Band will run November 12 a?" December 15 (press opening: Sunday, November 17 at 7pm) in the Playhouse's Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.
