The producers of Anastasia have announced that Cody Simpson has extended his engagement in the hit musical for eight additional weeks. Simpson made his Broadway debut as "Dmitry" on November 29, 2018 and will continue to star in the Broadway production through April 14, 2019.

Scooter Brown was awarded Male Vocalist of the Year at the 3rd Annual Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards presented by iHeartRadio on January 13 at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley, Colo. The awards celebrate the best in country music from 2018 in the Rocky Mountain region (including Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, Utah and New Mexico). Scooter Brown Band's “American Son” featuring Charlie Daniels was also nominated for Song of the Year. Following the evening performance on Thursday, January 17, ANASTASIA stars Christy Altomare and Cody Simpson will return onstage for a special acoustic performance of the beloved song "Once Upon a December." Simpson will accompany the duet on guitar.
Country Music Hall of Fame member Randy Travis was honored with the Lee Greenwood Award by the 501(c)3 organization, Helping A Hero, at their Lee Greenwood & Friends concert in Houston on Monday. The concert celebrated Christmas and patriotism while honoring and raising money to build homes for wounded warriors.

Beginning Tuesday, December 18, original company member Constantine Germanacos will rejoin the hit Broadway musical as "Gleb." Emmy Award Winner Penny Fuller will assume the role of the "Dowager Empress" the week of January 7.
