The White Plains Performing Arts Center (WPPAC) is proud to announce the cast for the Regional Premiere of THE BODYGUARD, playing April 26 - May 12, 2019. Based on the 1992 Oscar-nominated film that starred Whitney Houston, THE BODYGUARD is a breathtakingly romantic thriller. When former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer, is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker, each expects to be in charge; what they don't expect is to fall in love. THE BODYGUARD features a host of Whitney Houston's chart-topping greatest hits including: "I Have Nothing", 'One Moment in Time", "Run to You", "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and one of the best-selling songs of all time, "I Will Always Love You".

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, Thursday, January 17th 2019, at 9:30 PM to present a one man concert-written and performed by singer, actor, and activist Gerardo Vallejo -highlighting the danger, absurdity, and fragile nature of toxic masculinity in our society. Interwoven with heartfelt personal life stories, A GENTLEMAN IN NEW YORK features songs from the musical theater cannon, the great American songbook, and top-40 pop classics-both new and old. New York City based composer/pianist Karl Hedrick serves as the Musical Director. Barrie Gelles serves as dramaturg and stage director.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents "Rusty Magee: Revisited", a celebration of the life and music of Rusty Magee, the legendary cabaret staple of the 80s and 90s with one of the most distinct and creative musical voices of all time.

PEGGY LEE is being celebrated December 15 at 7:00PM at Green Room 42 as the Season Finale of Blake Allen's 'An Evening With...' Series. Called 'an important vehicle for music preservation' (BroadwayWorld), the series is committed to honoring, and educating audiences about, the music of America from the early-mid part of the 20th century by setting these celebrated works with notable contemporary voices and new arrangements.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 in Association with Iris Productions presents Danny Marin & Friends in '#TruthOrBare' on June 8 @ 7p. Danny Marin and his super pals are thrilled to team up with The Green Room 42 in raising some money for a great cause! Hosted by Danny Marin and Erin Rice with Musical Direction by Blake Allen, #TruthOrBare is going to be an evening filled with mash ups, gender reversals and some fierce singers benefiting BC/EFA! Featuring Allison Griffith, Sarah Kleist, Jennifer Reed, Sean Stephens, ALL proceeds towards #TruthOrBare benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS in support of Broadway Bares: Game Night. HOLLA DAYZ: All I want for Christmas is Booze will be presented for one-performance-only on December 19th, 2017 at The West End Lounge in NYC. Featuring 20 singers, pop star renditions of favorite Holiday Hits, original christmas music by Michael Mott (Where The Sky Ends, Abandoned Heart), Carner and Gregor (Island Song), Selda and Derek (Grind), with special performances by host, Carmen Sidemi.

Combining musical theatre, comedy, and other tongue-in-cheek 'art forms,' Cabarets by J&J and the Laurie Beechman Theatre will present MISFITS! Following on the success of other one-night hit cabarets like 'Shipwrecked,' and 'A Swing... and a Miss!', this tongue-in-cheek show takes a hard look at the glorious art of miscast performers through hilarious stories and song.
