TheaterWorksUSA has announced their upcoming 2022 - 2023 season, including the national touring premieres of PETE THE CAT'S BIG HOLLYWOOD ADVENTURE, EL OTRO OZ, and THE LIGHTNING THIEF: TYA EDITION, along with returning favorites touring across the country.
SHOWTIME has announced that Donald Sumpter (Game of Thrones), Brendan Patricks (Downton Abbey), Pippa Bennett-Warner (Gangs of London), Mark Quartley (Lucky Man), Jonathan Livingstone (Peacock), Charlotte Louise Arrowsmith (This is Going to Hurt), and Kelly Wenham (Merlin) have joined the cast of ENTITLED.
The series is co-produced by SHOWTIME and Channel 4 in the UK, in association with All3Media International. Harry Williams, Jack Williams and Sarah Hammond of Two Brothers Pictures – the producers of the Emmy® winning Fleabag and International Emmy nominee BACK TO LIFE – also executive produce.
This spring, The Coterie returns to indoor performances with the charming family musical, Pete the Cat, based on the best-selling book series by Kimberly and James Dean. Transforming the fabulous blue feline from the book to the stage, Pete the Cat brings the ever-adventurous but always mellow, Pete, to life on stage with toe-tapping, pop-inspired tunes featuring book & lyrics by Sarah Hammond and music by Will Aronson. Directed by Heidi Van with musical direction by Anthony T. Edwards and choreography by Marc Wayne, Pete the Cat will be performed live on The Coterie’s mainstage located in Crown Center, April 1-May 22, 2022.

A favorite Orlando REP actor, Stephen Pugh, takes on multiple characters as he vividly takes us back to the quaint village of Sleepy Hollow, where stories of wonder and spookiness surround the legend of a headless horseman and schoolmaster Ichabod Crane. Derek G. Martin and Jesse M. Sullivan adapted this Washington Irving classic for the stage.
MST’s MainStage season will open with the wildly whimsical and equally intelligent Darwin in Malibu by Crispin Whittell, directed by Udden. It’s a meeting of the minds when Charles Darwin, Thomas Huxley, and the Bishop of Oxford, Samuel Wilberforce, meet on the beach in Malibu a century after their deaths!
Weston Playhouse Theatre Company continues its Reimagined 2020 Season with the debut of Songs for Today, a series of bite-sized musical tracks in the spirit of classic Playhouse shows. The project is the second in the recently launched new works initiative, Weston Writers.
Orlando Repertory Theatre (Orlando REP) is ready to rock into spring with a feline favorite starring in his own musical, Pete The Cat.
