The Muny is prepping to transport audiences to the roaring 20s with Kander and Ebb's Chicago, the fifth and final show of the theatre's 103rd season, running Aug. 30 - Sept. 5.

On Wednesday, August 25th, 2021, Queens Theatre's New American Voices and Theatre for All, in collaboration with Lincoln Center's RESTART STAGES, present An Evening of Short Plays, featuring three works by artists from the Disability community.

The Muny announced today its complete cast, design and production team for Chicago, the fifth and final show of the theatre’s 103rd season. Chicago runs Aug. 30 – Sept. 5 and is proudly sponsored by Missouri Lottery.

After what will be a 23-month intermission, The Muny's 103rd season will open with the Muny premiere of Smokey Joe's Cafe, followed by The Sound of Music, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, On Your Feet! and Chicago.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, City Center cancelled the remainder of its season due to the current health crisis. One production that was cancelled, was Love Life, which was set to run March 18 - 22, starring Kate Baldwin and Brian Stokes Mitchell. However, Jack Viertel, Encores! Artistic Director, has some promising news.

Today's top stories: select Broadway shows (To Kill a Mockingbird, West Side Story, The Lehman Trilogy, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and The Book of Mormon) will be just $50 through March 29!

Next up at New York City Center  Encores! is Love Life, which runs for seven performances at New York City Center from March 18 - 22. Watch as the cast gives a very special sneak peek of 'Economics' and 'I Remember It Well' and tells us even more about what to expect from the show!

New York City Center today announced complete casting for the Encores! production of Love Life. Joining previously announced cast members Kate Baldwin (Susan Cooper) and Brian Stokes Mitchell (Sam Cooper) are John Edwards (Hobo), Sara Jean Ford (Miss Ideal Man), Isabella Houston (Elizabeth Cooper), Owen Tabaka (Johnny Cooper), and Clarke Thorell (Bill/Mr. Cynic).

Chase Brock, the contemporary choreographer behind Broadway's recent cult-hit production Be More Chill and the Artistic Director of New York City based contemporary dance company The Chase Brock Experience, announced that his acclaimed 2008 evening-length production The Four Seasons, will play a strictly limited engagement just in time for the Thanksgiving and holiday seasons. This evening-length dance narrative will play a strictly limited 21-performance engagement at New York City's Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, Located between 9th & 10th Avenues) beginning Thursday, November 21 and concluding on Sunday, December 8, 2019.

Sarah Bowden swings by Houston to play the coveted role of 'Cassie' in the Theatre Under the Stars season-opening production of A CHORUS LINE.

Director Julie Kramer and choreographer Jessica Hartman have stayed true to the 1975 vision, but also managed to make it more energetic and faster paced. The dancers often seem to defy gravity and levitate during numbers, and it's all gorgeously staged and executed.
