Broadway preview performances will begin on Friday, March 29, 2019. TOOTSIE will have its World Premiere in a pre-Broadway engagement this fall at Broadway In Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL) from September 11 - October 14. Randolph St). The annual Broadway In Chicago Summer Concert at Millennium Park is presented with the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe nominee Matthew Morrison (GLEE, HAIRSPRAY, THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA) and Olivier-winning Laura Michelle Kelly (who originated the title role in MARY POPPINS) were the special guests at a splendid Mormon Tabernacle Choir tribute to Rodgers and Hammerstein, also featuring the Orchestra at Temple Square and narrated by Oscar "Andy" Hammerstein III. The one-of-a-kind event was presented free of charge as a gift to the community Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the impressive 21,000-seat Conference Center. Since 1985, the non-profit's summer program, set at Vassar College, has presented a variety of readings, workshops and productions of in-development works.
