Netflix hosted the World Premiere of the upcoming film GOOD GRIEF at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles. Cast members in attendance included Daniel Levy (who also wrote, directed and produced the film), Ruth Negga, Himesh Patel, Arnaud Valois and Kaitlyn Dever. The EP includes acoustic versions of “Dancing In The Rain” and “The Walk Home”, plus a special Reflections version of 'The Walk Home' and an acoustic cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now.” “The Walk Home (Acoustic)” was released on May 12 alongside a music video, also filmed at Sunset Sound by Drew Dempsey.

To support American Bollywood, the band is touring the US and Canada this summer with opening act Milky Chance. Tickets for the tour, which begins May 30th in Montreal and ends August 31st in Dillon, Colorado are selling briskly with shows at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York and Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside of Denver sold out in days.

The tour follows this past fall’s greatly anticipated release of American Bollywood, their first album in four years. Carla Ching is among the first three recipients to win the Los Angeles New Play Project Award, which supports playwriting and producing in smaller Los Angeles theaters. Her new play, Revenge Porn or the Story of a Body, opening September 23 at The Pico, directed by Bernardo Cubría for Ammunition Theatre Company, was originally developed as part of the 2021 Ammo Writers' Lab. It takes a very public look into the private lives of people who hurt the ones they love most, and how or if revenge should be taken to offset the pain. I decided to speak with Carla Ching about the play and how it was developed for its world premiere.
