Variety reports that Jeremy Strong has joined the cast of Aaron Sorkin's 'The Trial of the Chicago 7.' Previously announced cast members include Eddie Redmayne, Sacha Baron Cohen, Frank Langella, Mark Rylance and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aaron Sorkin's 'The Trial of the Chicago 7' is back on track at Paramount Studios. The film was previously canceled by Amblin due to concerns with the budget.

THE SPY is inspired by the real-life story of former Mossad agent, Eli Cohen, who successfully goes undercover in Syria in the early 1960s. To honor its recent Emmy nominees, SHOWTIME has released the premiere episodes of ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA,BLACK MONDAY and WHO IS AMERICA? for free online, on streaming platforms and on demand. Variety and PBS SoCal announced today the actor lineup and schedule for the tenth season of their EMMY®Award-winning Variety Studio: Actors on Actors. The new season will include exclusive one-on-one conversations between top acting talent from this year's most notable television  shows who are expected to contend this Emmy season. The first two episodes will premiere on PBS SoCal on Tuesday, June 18 at 7:00 p.m. and episodes three and four will premiere on Thursday, June 20 at 7:00 p.m.  All episodes will stream on pbssocal.organd on the free PBS Video app following their premieres.
