As we anxiously await opening night, we're counting down our favorite musical moments of the film! Which song is your favorite?

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.

In Jeremy Desmon's Pop Musical Cyrano de Burger Shack, Cyrano is king of the local Burger Shack, but he can't seem to win the love of his best friend, Roxanne. Shudder, AMC Networks' premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural, today announced additional casting for its upcoming Creepshow anthology series, executive produced by Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead). Joining the cast are Grammy winners Kid Cudi (Scott Mescudi) and Big Boi (Antwan Patton), along with Jeffrey Combs (Star Trek, Re-Animator), Bruce Davison (Longtime Companion, X-Men) and DJ Qualls (The Man in the High Castle, Supernatural). Shudder also revealed an additional Creepshow story, 'The Finger,' written by award-winning horror novelist David J. Schow (The Crow) and directed by series showrunner Greg Nicotero.

Tanna Frederick (Defrost, Hollywood Dreams) stars alongside Tom Bower (Die Hard, Waltons) in her first produced narrative feature film Two Ways Home. A film from the heart, raising awareness about mental health in cooperation with aligned charities including http://www.NAMI.org and http://www.BreakingTheChainsFoundation.org. Two Ways Home was directed by Ron Vignone, from an original screenplay by Richard Schinnow, independently produced and filmed in Iowa.

Netflix today announced it will produce a live action family movie, Hello, Universe, based on the 2018 Newbery Award winning, New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Erin Entrada Kelly.

The Utah Symphony today announced the lineup for the 2019 summer community concert series in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, several of which feature outdoor venues and free performances. The schedule includes orchestra performances in Layton on June 17, Gallivan Center on Monday June 24, Thanksgiving Point on June 26, Taylorsville Dayzz on June 27, Utah Cultural Celebration Center on July 1, Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre on July 2, and Snowbasin on July 3. The final summer concert is in commemoration of Zion National Park's 100th anniversary, with a special performance of the orchestra with Sting on Aug. 31, 2019. No tickets are required for the Gallivan Center and Utah Cultural Celebration Center performances, which are free to the public. Tickets for the other performances are on sale now with ticketing information available at www.utahsymphony.org.
