A couple of years ago, when I was initially deciding which school to attend, I heavily considered what a day in the life of the students at that school would look like. At Fordham, with two campuses, as a Rose Hill student pursuing a theatre minor, my day-to-day looks different than most, so I thought I would detail a Monday in my life to hopefully give people a better understanding of life at Fordham!
Presenting two works written centuries apart, the Main Street Chamber Orchestra with 54 professional musicians will perform Beethoven's masterful Fifth Symphony and music from John Williams' legendary Star Wars Suite for Orchestra.
I attend Fordham University’s Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx, New York, and the theatre scene at my school is particularly diverse and interesting, though quite confusing to a casual onlooker because of the multitude of different programs and opportunities!
If you do not see something you would be interested in, you can always start your own group! Fordham does a great job of making sure there are opportunities for everyone to try new things or to do what they already know they love.
Following capacity crowds and raves from NYC to Hollywood, the interactive family comedy 'Show Up, Kids!” is offering a special performance for kids 2-6 (and their grownups) at Rose Hill Montessori School.
For as long as I can remember I have been performing in some capacity. I was always humming a tune around the house or bopping from dance class to dance class with my younger cousin Adeline. My parents thought it was important to immerse me in the arts from a young age and for that, I am forever grateful.

Striking a delicate balance between composition and improvisation, Richter's live shows see the producer improvising around elements of his recorded material, twisting haunted samples and bristling electronics into surprising new shapes.

Today, JamBase premiered the band's live performance of “Down Low” featuring Childers, who co-wrote the duet with banjo player and vocalist Jesse Langlais for Town Mountain's most recent album, New Freedom Blues. “It's always a pleasure to do shows with Tyler and The Food Stamps,” Langlais explains. “We love the guys and we love the music, brothers in arms! And it's always a highlight when Tyler comes up with us and performs 'Down Low'. Especially at a venue like Red Rocks where you can just feel the energy and magic in the air.”
