Kevin Moriarty, who has served as Dallas Theater Center's Enloe/Rose Artistic Director for 15 years, has been named Executive Director, following the recent announcement of the retirement of DTC managing director Jeffrey Woodward, who has served in that position for eight years.

Dallas Theater Center (DTC) celebrates 30 years with one of the city's most talented actors, Liz Mikel. She made her debut on the DTC mainstage in 1991, appearing in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Since then, Mikel has been featured in multiple DTC productions and currently features in Cake Ladies at the Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre as Tweedy-Bird, a character written specifically for her.

Gamut Theatre Group is thrilled to announce its 2018-19 season will now open with William Shakespeare's exciting and epic saga Pericles, Prince of Tyre. This production will run from November 3 -25 on the Select Medical Mainstage at Gamut's beautiful theatre in downtown Harrisburg. Thomas Weaver, Gamut's Associate Artistic Director and director of Gamut's recent Free Shakespeare in the Park production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, is set to direct.
The University Press of Kentucky Announces New Literacy Project

The University Press of Kentucky has partnered with Kentucky Humanities on its new statewide literacy project, Kentucky Reads: All the King's Men. The program will use Robert Penn Warren's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel to guide a statewide conversation on contemporary populism and political discourse and their relationship to journalism. With funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the National Endowment for the Humanities, Kentucky Humanities will host a series of community discussions and events centered on Warren's celebrated work and what it can teach us today.
