The Brick Theater, Inc. and Theater Accident are proud to present The Sea The Mountains The Forest The City The Plain, a new play by Matthew Freeman (The Listeners, The Hollow), directed by David Cote (Something Something ?oeber Alles, Blind Injustice) and starring Robert Honeywell (City of Glass, The Listeners) who co-founded The Brick in 2002 with Michael Gardner. Honeywell's performance in this full-length monologue marks a farewell to The Brick.

Production company 3DaysPrior has announced their participation in The Brick's Shakespeare in the Theater Festival, where they will be presenting a remount of Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, following a sold-out run at The Upstairs Theater at St. Paul's in June. The production will be directed by Rachel B. Karp, and star co-artistic directors Sydney Tennant (the upcoming film a?oeThe Secreta?? opposite Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas) and Ziggy Schulting (currently touring with Hudson Shakespeare Company) as Guildenstern and Rosencrantz, respectively.

My True Colors Festival (MTCF) is pleased to present its lineup for 2018, including Saturday Church (June 14, 7 PM), a mini musical about a shy 14-year-old-boy struggling with gender identity and religion. He escapes the burden of his new responsibilities as "man of the house" after the death of his father and finds his passion in the process through voguing and the NYC ball scene, with the help of a vibrant transgender community where he is enlisted into Saturday Church, a program for at-risk L.G.B.T.Q. youth.

The event will feature a free performance by EK Theater of Niobe, a video game puppetry piece that uses the first-person shooter Halo: Reach to show how Niobe is punished by the gods for her arrogance in this story from Ovid's Metamorphoses, followed by a panel discussion about real world violence and its relationship to video games.
