Cynthia Erivo will be back onstage this summer when she plays 'Jesus' in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl. One of the show's creators, lyricist Tim Rice, has chimed in about his thoughts on her in the role, which is typically played by a man. 

The 2025 Hollywood Bowl schedule spans June through September, featuring a diverse lineup of performances including classical music, pop, rock, jazz, and Broadway hits. The Hollywood Bowl 2025 season marks the LA Phil's 103rd season at the venue. As BroadwayWorld previously announced, a highlight of the season will be Cynthia Erivo as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. New editions including Hugh Jackman, Dianna Ross and more special events.

The SOME LIKE IT HOT North American tour is coming to The Fabulous Fox. The Tony Award-winning musical will run February 26 – March 9. SOME LIKE IT HOT won more theater awards than any show in its season, and was named Best Musical by the Drama Desk, The Drama League, and the Outer Critics Circle.

Single tickets for the upcoming engagement of SOME LIKE IT HOT in San Diego are now on sale. The show will run at the San Diego Civic Theatre beginning in January.

Tickets for the Memphis premiere of SOME LIKE IT HOT at the Orpheum Theatre go on sale Friday, November 22. The show will run from April 8 to 13 as part of the 2024-2025 Broadway Season.

Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) announced that single tickets for the upcoming engagement of SOME LIKE IT HOT in Providence will go on sale Friday, October 18, 2024 at 10A for performances running from Tuesday, April 22 through Sunday, April 27, 2025.
