Marianne Elliot's acclaimed revival of Stephen Sondheim's COMPANY will get a physical cast recording release today!

The Stephen Sondheim-themed episode of Documentary Now!, parodying D.A. Pennebaker's classic making-of Company documentary, aired last night! The episode, titled 'Original Cast Album: Co-Op,' can be watched in full here!

Last night's performance of Company in London encountered quite a hiccup when the set broke down and a cover performer took ill. Patti LuPone brought her show-must-go-on spirit to the audience and performed a quick number.

To celebrate last week's successful release of the cast recording as well as two prestigious Critics' Circle Awards for Marianne Elliott's critically acclaimed production ofCompany, broadcaster Paddy O'Connell will be hosting a post-show Q and A at the Gielgud Theatre, with two of the show's stars - Rosalie Craig, who plays the central role of Bobbie and Patti LuPone, who plays Joanne.

The COMPANY - 2018 London Cast Recording will be available for digital download and streaming on Friday, 1st February 2019.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, a cast recording is in the works for Marianne Elliott's gender-bending production of Company, which is currently running in the West End at the Gielgud Theatre. The album will officially arrive digitally on February 1, 2019! 

The legendary Patti LuPone is currently reprising her role as Joanne in Company on the West End. LuPone recently took some time backstage in her dressing room to answer some fan questions about Company, her past roles, and more! Watch the video below!

On January 10, Theatre publisher Nick Hern Books will release an updated version of the libretto for Company. This edition features the complete revised book from the current gender-swapped West End version of the show, color production photographs, and an introduction by Sondheim's biographer David Benedict.

Patti LuPone is currently starring in the massive West End hit musical Company. Now, she is reuniting with her Les Miserables co-star Michael Ball for his radio show, The Michael Ball Show.

We'll drink to that! According to Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail, the West End production of Company is recording its cast album this Sunday and Monday in London.
