Television and Broadway star, Jason Kravits, will return to Joe's Pub on Friday evening, July 26, 2024 with his critically acclaimed solo show, “OFF the TOP!” - an unforgettable evening of spontaneous music and comedy -with a portion of the show benefiting The Creative Coalition. Joining Jason will be special guest star, Tony Danza.

Beloved classic Fiddler on the Roof has itself become a tradition for theatre lovers worldwide. It was a favorite of mine as a child, and continues to be many years later. Fiddler on the Roof was an instant hit when it opened on Broadway sixty years ago, winning nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It has inspired parodies, television shows, movies, and music. It opened in Sacramento on Tuesday night to an enthusiastic audience eager for its themes of love, family, and resilience.

Academy Award Winner, Broadway legend and White Lotus star F. Murray Abraham will join Jason Kravits for Joe's Pub debut.

After sold-out shows in NYC last fall (and 2+ years after a star-studded week-long London residency) the award-winning, internationally acclaimed, completely improvised night of music and comedy returns to the Birdland Theater for one night only... and then moves on to London for two shows at The Crazy Coqs.

OFF the TOP! with Jason Kravits will play Birdland Theater on May 16th as well as The Crazy Coqs in London, May 27th-28th!

After a sold-out run in September, the award-winning, internationally acclaimed, completely improvised night of music and comedy returns to Birdland - this time upstairs! - for a rare Monday night performance.

OFF the TOP! has added 4 special guests to the line-up. Friday, Sept 17th the show welcomes TARIK DAVIS (The Amber Ruffin Show, Freestyle Love Supreme on Broadway) and Jimmy O'Connell (the Jimmy O'Connell sextet). On Saturday, Sept 18th, Angel Desai (NCIS: New Orleans, Blue Bloods) and world-renowned recording artist, Nellie McKay (Threepenny Opera, Old Hats) join the bill.

SHREK, THE MUSICAL may not be the (self-described) greatest fairy tale ever told, but it is one of the most joyous, cheerful and animated musicals I've seen in years. (I say animated for it is taken from the DreamWorks film SHREK). The cast, the costumes, the sets and the music make this #1 in my years of reviewing Walnut Street.

Summer can officially begin in Sacramento! Broadway at Music Circus kicks off its new season on June 11 with Shrek the Musical. Shrek brings something for the entire family to enjoy and is the perfect accompaniment to PRIDE month with its message of inclusion. As one of the Fairytale Creatures says, 'It's time to stop the hiding. It's time to stand up tall.' Jennifer Leigh Warren, who plays Dragon, wholeheartedly agrees. She was last seen in multiple roles on television in 'Rent Live!' in January. She spoke to Broadway World Sacramento about the importance of the show, her role as a lonely puppet, and her impressive career.
