Jason Kravits Returns To Upstairs At Vitello's With OFF THE TOP!

A Man. A Band. Completely Unplanned. After a year of sold out shows in New York, London, Edinburgh, Washington DC, Adelaide, and Melbourne, television and Broadway veteran Jason Kravits returns to Upstairs at Vitello's in Studio City with his critically acclaimed, completely improvised evening of musical comedy, Off the Top! for one show only on Thursday, February 21, at 8pm.
In Off the Top! Kravits utilizes audience suggestions (pulled from a fishbowl) to create an entire life story in song, with every bit of it melodies, lyrics, stories, and character made up on the spot. Music, comedy, improv, and magic all stirred together and poured into a martini glass to create one exhilaratingly delicious cocktail of fun.
Jason Kravits has been a familiar face on stages and screens large and small for over three decades. Perhaps best known for his long-running role as Richard Bay on ABC's The Practice, he has appeared in over 50 television shows including The Deuce, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Blacklist, Startup, Madam Secretary, 30 Rock, and the final episode of Friends. Most recently he appeared as Woody alongside Alan Arkin and Michael Douglas in the Netflix series The Kominsky Method. On Broadway, he made a splash in the hit musical comedy The Drowsy Chaperone. He also appeared in Relatively Speaking, three original one-acts by Ethan Coen, Elaine May, and Woody Allen. Kravits is the creator of the acclaimed web series Lords of the Playground, the parody musical Harrison!, and the holiday stories The Kvetch and A Christmoose Story.
Tickets for Off the Top! are $20. Doors open at 7pm for cocktail and dinner service (minimums apply). Purchase tickets online at www.VitellosRestaurant.com or by phone at (818) 769-0905. Upstairs at Vitello's is located at 4349 Tujunga Avenue in Studio City, 91604.
