Dreams are in short supply on the island of Inishmaan, especially for Billy Claven, orphaned and crippled since birth. Antaeus Theatre Company presents The Cripple of Inishmaan, a darkly comic Irish yarn by master storyteller Martin McDonagh. Steven Robman directs a partner-cast ensemble for a Jan. 24 and Jan. 25 opening (one opening night for each cast) at the Kiki & David Gindler Performing Arts Center in Glendale, where performances continue through March 11. Low-priced previews begin Jan. 17.
Sergei Polunin Presents A New Mixed Bill At The London Palladium

Ballet star Sergei Polunin will present a new mixed programme at the London Palladium from 28 May to 1 June 2019. The programme will feature an international cast and creative team, including Polunin himself. The Box Office will open at 10.00am on Friday 14 December. Full casting and programme details will be announced early next year.

The 31st Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF), held from October 25 to November 3, concluded with the announcement of winners at the Award Ceremony on its 9th day of the festival. This year, TIFF screened 181 films and 62,125 film fans (not including last day's turnout) attended the screenings. The Tokyo Grand Prix was awarded to 'Amanda' directed by Mikhael Hers.
