First seen in Chichester last summer, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry now makes its joyful arrival into London. Based on the 2012 novel by Rachel Joyce which became a 2023 film, the show is a musical that cleverly acts as a snapshot of modern Britain and a study into the complexities and darkness of grief and sadness within a marriage.

With a focus on the themes of redemption, resilience and second chances, BroadwayWorld UK sit down for an interview with Mark Addy and Jenna Russell for the upcoming West End Premiere of THE UNLIKELY PILGRIMAGE OF HAROLD FRY.

2025 was a stellar year from theatre, but now the New Year has rolled in, we can put away the festive decorations, throw out the last bit of leftover turkey and look forward to an even better twelve months of theatrical goodies.

The full cast has been announced joining the already announced  Mark Addy as Harold Fry, Jenna Russell as Maureen Fry and Noah Mullins as The Balladeer in The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry.

Art of Leaving Off-Broadway will present the Art of Loving Talkback Series, which will feature a slate of post-show discussions surrounding love and relationships.

Noah Mullins will join Mark Addy and Jenna Russell to make their West End debut playing The Balladeer in The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Watch a video of Mullins here!

The full company has been revealed for The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, a joyous new musical adapted by Rachel Joyce from her own multi-million-selling novel in the UK. See who is starring and learn how to purchase tickets.

Chichester Festival Theatre’s Festival 2025 has been announced by Artistic Director, Justin Audibert and Executive Director, Kathy Bourne. Festival 2025 includes five world and two UK premieres, two musicals, and masterpieces from world drama.

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will present the World Premiere of Lizzie Stern's Let's get ready together, directed by Lily Riopelle at The Tank (312 West 36th Streetbetween 8th and 9th Avenues), May 30-June 10. Performances will be Wednesday, May 30, Thursday, May 31, Friday, June 1, Saturday, June 2, Sunday, June 3, Monday, June 4, Wednesday, June 6, Thursday, June 7, Friday, June 8, Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10 at 7 pm. Tickets ($15) are available for advance purchase at www.thetanknyc.org. The performance will run approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.
