Casting has been announced for the Made at Curve production of West Side Story, running in Leicester this Christmas 23 Nov 2019 – 11 Jan 2020.

Lambert Jackson Productions today announce full casting for Dr Zhivago a?" The UK Concert Première. Joining the previously announced Ramin Karimloo (Yurii Andreyevich Zhivago) and Celinde Schoenmaker (Lara Guishar) are Rhys Bailey (Young Yurii, Sasha), Maisey Bawden (Olya), Isabella Djuve-Wood (Young Lara), Emma De-Anne Edwards (Anna Gromeko), Darcy Jacobs (Young Tonia), Kelly Mathieson (Tonia Gromeko), Charlie McCullagh (Pasha Antipov, Strelnikov), Matthew Woodyatt (Viktor Komarovksy), and Trinity Laban Musical Theatre as the ensemble. The production takes place at Cadogan Hall, on Sunday 1 September, 2pm and 6.30pm.

Cameron Mackintosh and Disney Theatrical Productions have announced final adult casting for the new production of Mary Poppins which begins rehearsals in September and returns to its original West End home at the Prince Edward Theatre from 23 October 2019.

Lea Salonga recently performed at The Palladium on her debut solo UK tour. While onstage, Lea invited a special guest, Rachelle Ann Go, to perform 'I Know Him So Well' with her.

The musical Mary Poppins is currently playing at the Elbe Stage-Theatre in Hamburg. The show is based on the 1934 published novel about the famous nanny, created by Pamela L. Travers. Mary Poppins gained worldwide recognition through the 1964 movie with Julie Andrews and Dick van Dyke. In 1993, Cameron Mackintosh could convince Pamela L. Travers to take her novel to the stage.

Colin Salmon, star of the James Bond film series, Netflix's Master of None and Syfy's Krypton, has been confirmed to join the cast of the Howard Zinn biopic, The Time Of Our Lies. Guest starring for one night on 2 August, Colin will play the lead role as the American historian, author and social activist, Howard Zinn. Daniel Benzali will star as Howard Zinn for the remainder of the run. With Trang Le and Jessye Romeo also joining the ensemble, The Time Of Our Lies is written by Bianca Bagatourian and directed by Che Walker, with movement by Maureen Fleming.

Disney's hit West End musicals The Lion King, Aladdin, the eagerly anticipated Frozen, and Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins have today announced that there will be a Disney in the West End Summer Pop-Up, set to open its doors to fans of all ages in Covent Garden from Tuesday 23rd July until Sunday 1st September 2019. Located at 21 Long Acre, Covent Garden, WC2E 9LD, in the heart of Theatreland, the Pop-Up will be open every day Monday - Saturday 10:30am - 7:00pm and Sunday at 11:00am - 5:00pm, with a host of free interactive experiences and special events to enjoy.

Singer, actress, Broadway royalty, and two-time Disney Princess Lea Salonga recently performed at Cardiff's Wales Millennium Centre in the opening show of her debut solo UK tour. Simon Bowman surprised the sell-out audience by walking up on stage and duetting with Lea to perform A Whole New World from Aladdin.

The global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! celebrated its 20th anniversary in London's West End at the Novello Theatre on Saturday 6 April. Now, in the musical's 21st year, the producers have announced some major cast changes in the London production from Monday 10 June 2019. Mazz Murray, who has previously played Tanya in the London production, will be returning to the musical, but this time as Donna, and Kirsty Hoiles will join her as Tanya. Also new to the musical will be Cameron Burt as Sky, Melissa Nettleford as Ali, Sophie Matthew as Lisa, Taylor Bradshaw as Eddie and Danny Nattrass as Pepper. They will be joining Ricky Butt as Rosie, Richard Trinder as Sam, Neil Moors as Harry, Stephen Beckett as Bill and Lucy May Barker as Sophie. Caroline Deverill continues to play the role of Donna at certain performances.

Initial casting has been revealed for The Time Of Our Lies, as celebrated television and film actor Daniel Benzali joins the biopic story of the American historian, author and social activist Howard Zinn. Written by Bianca Bagatourian, directed by Che Walker, movement by Maureen Fleming and music by Gamal Chasten.

Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment, Hope Mill Theatre and Ray Rackham Theatrical are delighted to announce that Harriet Thorpe and Tim Flavin will star as Vera and Beauregard respectively in the first professional UK revival of Jerry Herman's much loved musical MAME. They join the previously announced Tracie Bennett in the title role.

Disney's Aladdin marked its anniversary this week having celebrated its official opening night three years ago on 15 June 2016. The spectacular West End musical has now welcomed more than two million audience members at the Prince Edward Theatre where tickets are on sale for performances up to and including Saturday 24 August 2019 - when it will conclude its magical run in London.
