Phil McIntyre Entertainments have announced that John Robins, winner of the lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2017 and co-host of The Elis James and John Robins Show on Radio X, will tour the UK with a brand-new show, Hot Shame from September 2019.

Nick Jonas has been in the theatre community since he was a child, acting in Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, and, most recently, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. But Jonas looks to be trying on the playwright hat next.

Distance, the only male-directed play in PARK90's season, shining a light on male mental health and suicide (the biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK) with the story of Steven: a man trying to make sense of his world. Written by Alex McSweeney and directed by Simon Pittman (Associate Director, Frantic Assembly), the cast includes Doreene Blackstock, Adam Burton, Richard Corgan, Lindsay Fraser and Abdul Salis.

Following the success of the first season of "American Idol" on ABC, which crowned Iowa-native Maddie Poppe on its May 21 grand finale, America's beloved singing competition series announced today the list of audition cities for the network's second season. The nationwide search for the next superstar kicks off SATURDAY, AUG. 25, as the Idol Bus jumps into gear across America, offering hopefuls the chance to audition for a shot at superstardom.  

“118 (Performance Finals)” – In part one of the two-night season finale, the Top 3 finalists visit their hometowns to celebrate their time on the show then return to the Idol stage for their last chance to win America's vote, as the search for America's next superstar continues on its new home on America's network, The ABC Television Network, SUNDAY, MAY 20 (8:00–10:01 p.m. EDT), streaming and on demand.

After a monumental return to television in 2018, “American Idol” announces it's taking the show on the road with the American Idol Live! 2018tour, spanning three months this summer. The shows will feature this season's talented Top 7 finalists: Cade Foehner, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Catie Turner, Gabby Barrett, Jurnee, Maddie Poppe and Michael J. Woodard with special guest, Season 8 “American Idol” winner, Kris Allen. The 40+ city tour will kick off on Wednesday, July 11 in Redding, CA and will include a stop in St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Friday, August 10 at 7:00 p.m.

Variety has reported that the American Idol finalists will once again hit the road on a tour to be announced on the popular television program this Sunday. 

The journey continues as America's beloved singing competition series “American Idol” is set to return for its second season on The ABC Television Network for the 2018-2019 season. Following the historic revival of the beloved series on ABC, the fan favorite will set out once again on a nationwide search to discover the next singing sensation. Returning to help find the cream of the crop are music industry legends and all-star judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Emmy®-winning producer Ryan Seacrest will also return to helm the music competition series as host.

For the first time in the history of American television, a reality-competition series will allow viewers to watch and vote from both coasts simultaneously as “American Idol” is simulcast in all time zones across the country over a three-week span, starting SUNDAY, APRIL 29 (8:00–10:01 p.m. EDT/5:00-7:01 p.m. PDT), on The ABC Television Network. Viewers will be able to vote by text, via AmericanIdol.com/vote and on the American Idol app. Results will be revealed at the end of each show in real time, across all time zones.
