Phil McIntyre Live Ltd have announced a multitude of additional tour dates in Autumn 2020 for Milton Jones - star of Mock The Week (BBC Two) BBC Radio 4, and Live at the Apollo (BBC One), household favourite, king of the one-liner and one of the UK's biggest selling comedians. His Milton: Impossible tour will now take in a huge total of 100 dates across the UK and Ireland in 2020, beginning at the Dartford's Orchard Theatre on 22nd January 2020 and concluding in London at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on 29th November 2020. Tickets will go on sale on Thursday 28th November, with a presale on Tuesday 26th November, available via www.miltonjones.com.

For many years Nine Lessons and Carols for Curious People has been an end of year tradition playing to sold out audiences in London (this year will be the 10th staging of the show). Now, for the first time, this annual celebration of the curious and the creative, this variety night like no other, will be combining ideas, experiments, science, songs, comedy, poetry and more at The Lowry in Manchester as well as returning to King's Place in London. The show is hosted by Robin Ince and supported by a huge bill of amazing guests from stand-ups to scientists and musicians to mathematicians. This year Robin's guests will include Josie Long, Helen Czerski, Matt Parker, Lucie Green, Jim Al-Khalili, Simon Singh, Claudia Hammond, Ariane Sherrine and Natalie Haynes. Other guests will be announced closer to the shows and there will even be a few surprises on the night. In fact there's no telling who might turn up a?"

Recording Academy Announces Industry-Wide Initiative To Expand Opportunities For Female Producers and Engineers

Today, the Recording Academy's Task Force on Diversity and Inclusion announced an unprecedented new initiative that aims to expand opportunities for female music producers and engineers. The Producer & Engineer Inclusion Initiative is the inaugural action of a larger strategy to address gender inequity in the music industry. According to a 2018 USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative study, only 2 percent of music producers and 3 percent of engineers/mixers across popular music are women. This initiative is the first step in a broader effort to improve those numbers and increase diversity and inclusion for all in the music industry.
