Victorian Opera is et to stage the Australian premiere of The Who's Tommy from 22 February – 1 March 2022 at the Palais Theatre, St Kilda.

In a role approved by The Who’s Pete Townshend himself, Victorian Opera welcomes back rising star Mat Verevis (A Little Night Music, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Nine Network’s The Voice) as Narrator / Tommy. 

Today, The Coda Collection is also debuting ‘Six Quick Ones’, a complimentary piece featuring six mini-documentaries which offer an extended profile of each band member and further explore the group’s unique musical chemistry. 

Kimberly Kaye cut her teeth on the road, traveling the Warped Tour circuit as a member of a ska band before shifting her attention to roots music, with a recent detour directing and co-starring in a wildly successful revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch in New Orleans.

A brand new production company called The Rock Project has launched right here on Long Island and is streaming its inaugural production nation-wide this weekend from the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts.

Cerveris served as sideman for Hüsker Dü’s Bob Mould and shared stages with Pete Townshend, The Breeders, The Pixies’ Frank Black, Teenage Fanclub and beyond. Victorian Opera has announced the cast of The Who's Tommy. The Who's Tommy runs at the Palais Theatre, St Kilda from Friday 14 August 2020 to Friday 21 August 2020.

The Novato Theater Company's fourth show of its 100th season is The Who's Tommy with music and lyrics by Pete Townsend, book by Pete Townshend & Des McAnuff with additional music & lyrics by John Entwistle & Keith Moon. The original album has sold 20 million copies and has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
