The Greek Islands come to the Greek Theatre as St. Dunstan's Theatre Guild of Cranbrook closes out their season with the smash hit musical, Mamma Mia! Two fantastic new shows just announced! Roy Thomson Hall presents an intimate performance with neo-classical pianist, Alexandra Streliski on June 26. For this special evening, Streliski will perform for lucky fans alongside her on stage with the grandeur of the Roy Thomson Hall auditorium as her backdrop. Massey Hall today also announced the Toronto return of "Vocal Powerhouse" (Rolling Stone, June 2018), Tami Neilson on November 18 at Mod Club.

Resonance Records discovery Polly Gibbons, a British-born star on the rise, has a sound and style that give off sparks. It's raw, raspy, and full of heat; it sputters and growls, carves out funky grooves, and wails into the skies. All I Can Do, her third Resonance release, the label's founder George Klabin, places Gibbons in front of an audience, where she's at her most explosive.

Blake Allen's hit An Evening With... Series, which plays bi-monthly at The Green Room 42, is releasing an album of acoustic arrangements from their first season entitled An Evening With... Volume 1 on April 26, 2019 on all platforms. Physical copies will also be for sale before the general public at the next installment of the series on April 25: Nat 'King' and Natalie Cole.

The Annenberg Center and NextMove Dance present BODYTRAFFIC, the Los Angeles dance company making an international name for itself, April 26 (8 PM) and April 27 (2 PM and 8 PM). Blending contemporary, hip hop, jazz and ballet, the ensemble will perform a program of Philadelphia premieres, including A Million Voices, a work set to Peggy Lee classics by Pennsylvania Ballet resident choreographer and BalletX co-founder, Matthew Neenan, and the world premiere of Resolve by Wewolf. The program also includes Fragile Dwellings by Stijn Celis, George & Zalman by Ohad Naharin, and o2Joy by Richard Siegal.

Coastal Jazz & Blues Society announced today the Innovation Series - Ironworks, Ironworks Late Night, and Roundhouse Performance Centre at the 2019 TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival, which runs this summer from Friday, June 21 to Monday, July 1.

After leading the West End cast of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, Cassidy Janson formed part of the Leading Ladies trio and appeared in the English National Opera's production of Chess as Florence. She now returns to the London Coliseum stage as the alternate Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, sharing the role with Danielle de Niese. Cassidy spoke to Broadway World about the show.
