The Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical Come From Away has canceled tonight's Broadway performances through January 2nd due to breakthrough Covid-19 infections within the company.

Last night's performance of Come From Away featured standbys in eight of the roles, as confirmed by producer David Hein on Facebook.

In the spirit of the holiday season, Westport Country Playhouse Radio Theater, a free-of-charge broadcast series, will reprise from last year the inventive audio play, “A Merry Little Christmas Carol,” airing on WSHU Radio on Saturday, December 25, at 3:06 p.m. (following the national news), with a rebroadcast on Sunday, December 26, at 3:06 p.m.

 Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with the next edition of At This Performance…™ to be held on Monday, December 13th  at The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM. 

What better way to pay tribute to classic musical theatre than by demonstrating its staying power through modern interpretation and perspective? A GOLDEN AGE RHAPSODY, a new concept by Eli Zoller [he/him] and Benjamin Nissen [he/him] is a demonstration of the impact live theatre has when in the control of its performers.

Audience members at the November 20 matinee of Come From Away received a special surprise when they arrived for what they thought was just a normal performance. They were greeted with tote bags at each of their seats, containing an envelope, asking them to hold on opening it until a special announcement was made.
