Pretty Woman the Musical's original Broadway cast recording is available in stores nationwide today!

PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, with original music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and his longtime songwriting partner Jim Vallance, a book by Garry Marshall and the film's screenwriter J.F. Lawton, and direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell, opened just last night, Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre.

The Nederlander Theatre was the place to be last night, as a pretty magical opening unfolded for Broadway's newest musical, PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL. Starring Broadway regulars like Andy Karl, Orfeh, Jason Danieley, and Eric Anderson, the musical marks the Broadway debut of a new leading lady, Samantha Barks.

Lawton, and direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell, opened just last night, Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre.

Yesterday was big...HUGE...for the cast of Pretty Woman on Broadway! Iconic fashion accessories brand Henri Bendel hosted an event to celebrate its partnership with Pretty Woman: The Musical at its Fifth Avenue flagship location. The window of the store has been taken over with a display from the new musical.

Last night, August 2, the cast and creative team of Pretty Woman the Musical paid tribute to the film's director, the late, great Garry Marshall. Following the performance, the musical's director Jerry Mitchell, producer Paula Wagner, and Marshall's family, Kathleen Marshall, Scott Marshall, and Barbara Marshall, took the stage to give speeches and honor the director. They even dedicated a seat in the theatre to him with a plaque.

Last night, August 2, the cast and creative team of Pretty Woman the Musical paid tribute to the film's director, the late, great Garry Marshall. Speeches were given by the musical's director Jerry Mitchell, producer Paula Wagner, and Marshall's family, Kathleen Marshall, Scott Marshall, and Barbara Marshall. Also in attendance for the evening was Julia Roberts, the film's original star! Three-time Tony Award nominee and Laurence Olivier Award winner Andy Karl will star as 'Edward Lewis' in PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL on Broadway. Karl will assume the role from Steve Kazee who departs the production for family reasons.

The box office for PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will open Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 10am (EST). Performances begin tonight, Tuesday, March 13, for the Chicago World premiere engagement of the Broadway-bound PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL. PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will play a strictly limited 5-week engagement at Broadway In Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL) and will begin performances on Broadway on Friday, July 20, 2018, at The Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street), with an official opening night of Thursday, August 16, 2018.

Rock singer/songwriter Bryan Adams has composed a musical for the first time, and it's all due to an offhand comment made by an actress he was dating years ago, according to Daily Herald. Now, Pretty Woman the Musical is on its way to Broadway.

Pretty Woman will be walking down 41st Street soon and now the whole block knows it. This afternoon, the show tweeted the installation of its marquee at the historic Nederlander Theater. Check out the Instagram post below!

The Cinema Audio Society Award for Outstanding Sound Mixing Motion Picture - Live Action was presented to the sound mixing team from “Dunkirk” of Mark Weingarten CAS, Gregg Landaker, Gary Rizzo CAS, Alan Meyerson CAS, Thomas J. O'Connell and Scott Curtis.
