Chris LeDoux Featured in New Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Exhibit

Chris LeDoux had an immeasurable impact on the rodeo and music worlds during his short 56 years of life, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has included him in its first exhibition of 2020, American Currents: State of the Music. The new exhibit opened Friday, March 6, 2020 and runs through Feb. 7, 2021.

Alice Wallace To Release Ronstadt Cover 'Long, Long Time' On Vinyl

Alice Wallace has joined forces with Need to Know Records to release a stunning new version of the Linda Ronstadt classic 'Long, Long Time.' The single will be released on both 7” vinyl and digital on February 14, 2020. Alice, who calls Linda Ronstadt her biggest influence, first performed the song to critical acclaim at the one-night-stand of the iconic Palomino Club in Los Angeles in October of 2018.

The GRAMMY AWARDS Premiere Ceremony took place at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. PT. Preceding the 62nd Annual GRAMMY AWARDS telecast, the Premiere Ceremony was hosted by two-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Imogen Heap and featured a number of performances by current GRAMMY nominees. Performers included classical violinist Nicola Benedetti, jazz legend Chick Corea, folk music supergroup I'm With Her, West African sensation Angélique Kidjo and Best New Artist nominee Yola.

Sarah Jaffe Announces a Special Dallas Show

Sarah Jaffe is set to perform a special career-spanning show – A Constellation of Sorts – at The Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas on February 3rd where she will be joined by several members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she has announced a run of dates supporting New Orleans duo Generationals. The tour starts on March 3rd in Houston, TX and sees Jaffe perform in San Antonio, El Paso, Santa Fe, and Boulder – tickets are on sale now.

Chicago Sinfonietta Presents Its Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Concert

Leading the nation in programming works by women and diverse, under-represented composers, Chicago Sinfonietta, the nation's most diverse orchestra, presents its annual MLK Tribute Concert, celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through family, equity and the encouragement to execute positive change. Featuring several special guests, including Project Inclusion alumnus and current Chicago Sinfonietta Assistant Conductor Jonathan Rush, vocalist and semi-finalist on NBC's The Voice Kymberli Joye, and singers from three Chicagoland choruses, Chicago Sinfonietta is unveiling several firsts at the concert. Highlights will include Rush and Joye's professional collaborative debut during Patty Griffin's Up to the Mountain and the Chicago premiere of Joel Thompson's The Seven Last Words of the Unarmed, allowing listeners to experience a sweeping, musical journey meant to drive poignant conversation and change in society. Chicago Sinfonietta's performances will occur Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Wentz Concert Hall at North Central College, 171 E. Chicago Ave., Naperville, and on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. at Symphony Center, 220 S. Michigan Ave in Chicago.

The film is based on the untold true story of the friendship between the music icons. When they first met, Patsy (Hilty) was already one of the biggest stars in country music while Loretta (Mueller) was just a coal miner's daughter, starting off with little to her name but a $17 guitar. Instead of seeing Loretta as competition, Patsy took Loretta under her wings to help her make it in Nashville.
