The Fifth Annual St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards Presented by Carol B. Loeb winners were announced Sunday, May 22 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.

The Muny announced today that Laila Fantroy and Gabe Cytron will star as Jane and Michael Banks in the high-flying production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, July 5-13, 2022. Fantroy is a rising eighth grader at Christ the King Catholic School and Cytron is a rising ninth grader at Parkway High School. Both actors are part of the Muny Kids program. Mary Poppins is directed by John Tartaglia, choreographed by Patrick O’Neill, with music direction by Brad Haak. 

The Muny announced today that Jeanna de Waal, Corbin Bleu, Andréa Burns, Nehal Joshi, and Darlesia Cearcy will star in the high-flying production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, July 5-13, 2022. A family favorite, Muny-goers will witness Mary flying over the audience. Mary Poppins is directed by John Tartaglia, choreographed by Patrick O’Neill, with music direction by Brad Haak. Mary Poppins is proudly sponsored by Ameren.

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for The Muny’s 2022 season, which opens on June 13 with the celebrated return of the 2021 hit that audiences went “Whoopee!” for, the Tony Award-winning Chicago.

The music video has been released for  ‘He’s So Different’ from the new musical ‘On The Edge’ by Sam Hall. The video features West End performer and Hugh Jackman World Tour vocalist, Kayleigh McKnight.

The Muny Cast party is celebrating its 2019 summer production of Guys and Dolls with the reunion of cast members Ben Davis, Kendra Kassebaum, Jordan Gelber, Zoe Vonder Haar, Kevin Cahoon, Orville Mendoza, Jared Gertner, Gordon Greenberg, Patrick O'Neill and Lorin Latarro!

Tuesday, March 31st at 4pm Eastern, Broadway Teachers Workshop continues its series of free 30-minute inspirational online classes with John Cariani, author of Almost, Maine, one of the most popular plays in America, teaching Playwriting.

The Lexington Theatre Company (The Lex) welcomed David Elder (42nd Street, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Guys and Dolls, Titanic), Desi Oakley (Chicago, Wicked, Les Miserables, Waitress First National Tour), Michael James Scott (Disney's Aladdin, Something Rotten, The Book of Mormon), and Megan Sikora (Wicked, 42nd Street, How to Succeed…, Promises Promises) to Kentucky, to headline the sixth edition of their signature “Concert With The Stars” on January 3.

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2020 season, which opens June 15 with Kander and Ebb's internationally-acclaimed Chicago. Among the talented list are a mix of Muny favorites and newcomers. In addition to casting, a comprehensive list of design teams for each production will be released later this spring. Telsey + Company is the official casting partner for Muny.

Harry Connick Jr. is making his official return to Broadway tonight with the opening night of Harry Connick, Jr. - A Celebration of Cole Porter. To celebrate, we're looking back at his turn in Broadway's On a Clear Day You Can See Forever opposite Tony winner Jessie Mueller.
