MPAC’s 2023-2024 season – its 29th -- will feature over 100 events in a wide range of genres, from classical music to classic rock, Broadway to the blues, smooth jazz to stunning dance, and so much more.

Looking for some fun and joy this summer with a little bit of rock ‘n’ roll? Things will be epically rocking at Airness by Chelsea Marcantel, set to captivate audiences at The Contemporary Theater Company in Wakefield from June 23 to July 15.

This five-time Tony Award-nominated musical tells the story of a small-town girl, a city boy, and a rock 'n' roll romance on the Sunset Strip. But when the bar where rock reigns supreme is set to be demolished, it's up to these wannabe rockers and their band of friends to save the day - and the music.

80’s Revolution will hit the Sitnik stage at Centenary Stage Company on June 22nd at 7:30 pm.

Mercury Theater Artistic Director Christopher Chase Carter, Managing Director Kristi J. Martens and Executive Producers L. Walter Stearns and Eugene Dizon have announced Rock of Ages, the blockbuster classic rock musical. The show is written by Chris D’Arienzo. This production is directed and choreographed by Brenda Didier, with music direction by Linda Madonia.

Global superstar and recent Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Dolly Parton, has released 'World on Fire' from her upcoming debut rock album, 'Rockstar.' The ever-evolving Parton teamed up with an all-star roster of musicians for the 30-song collection which includes 9 original tracks and 21 iconic Rock anthems. The album features Miley Cyrus.

The new album features collaborations with Richie Sambora, Sting, Steve Perry, Ann Wilson, Howard Leese, John Fogerty, Steven Tyler, Warren Haynes, Stevie Nicks, Waddy Wachtel, Peter Frampton, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Chris Stapleton, Miley Cyrus, P!NK, Brandi Carlile, Kevin Cronin, Debbie Harry, Elton John, Melissa Etheridge, Lizzo, and more.

In LA they worked with Alain Johannes (Eleven, Mark Lanegan, Queens of the Stone Age) recording most of the vocals at Norm Block’s Happy Ending studios in Silverlake. Harvey finished mixing the album and coordinated the mastering with local legend Mikey Young before Acevedo returned to Mexico. Plus, check out tour dates!

Centenary Stage Company, a not-for-profit professional theater in Hackettstown has announced their Summerfest lineup of Concert events and Musical Theater. The summer 2023 season will feature two concerts and two musical theatre productions in the months of June – August.
