The Royal Opera will present Lost and Found: a series of brand-new, train-themed, micro-operas created by women composer and librettist teams. On Tuesday 8 March 2022, between 11am and 4pm, St. Pancras International will become a stage for the day, giving commuters the chance to enjoy stories and songs based on submissions from the public. 

This March, the 'hilarious production' that 'combines clever comedy and sublime arias' (Daily Express), Mozart's Così fan tutte returns to the English National Opera (ENO). Last staged in 2014, Mozart's dark comic masterpiece that is 'funny, fast and farcical' (What's On Stage), is brought to life by the multi-award winning director and Artistic Director of Improbable, Phelim McDermott. 

This year, join the Royal Opera House for an exciting series of lunchtime recitals, performed in our opulent Crush Room by artists from The Royal Opera, Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and Jette Parker Young Artists Programme.

Italian baritone Davide Luciano is indisposed and has withdrawn from performing the role of Count Almaviva in all performances of The Marriage of Figaro. Argentinean baritone and former Jette Parker Young Artist Germán E. Alcántara will replace him.

The Royal Opera House will continue its first full Season since 2019 with a selection of world class productions throughout 2022, showcasing the very best of opera and ballet.  In anticipation of the new year, here are a selection of upcoming world premieres and classic revivals from The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet.

In a specially curated, self-guided walk containing art exhibits, displays and pop-up performances, visitors will be invited to step into the worlds of opera and ballet, discover our iconic building, enjoy some of the remarkable front-of-house spaces, and see stunning works of art from David Hockney and Tacita Dean. 

The Jette Parker Young Artists Summer Performance is a chance to discover the stars of tomorrow. Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha, performing the role of Élisabeth, and Andrés Presno, performing the role of Don Carlos, sing a duet from Act II of Don Carlos as part of the Jette Parker Young Artists Summer Performance 2021.

Celebrate the Royal Opera House's Jette Parker Young Artists as they draw their year to a close with the annual summer performance. Spot stars of the future and enjoy a showcase of musical and creative works from the company's singers, conductors and stage directors and répétiteurs.

The Royal Ballet is continuing its commitment to create opportunities for the next generation of dance professionals and today announced joiners for the 2021/22 Season. This year they welcome four dancers to the Company from The Royal Ballet School: Olivia Findley, Ava May Llewellyn, Viola Pantuso and Alix Van Tiggelen.
