Drew Cain and Simon Roberts play David / Alec and Tom / Patrick respectively in The Original Theatre Company's new thriller, The Croft by Ali Milles. A brand new production of the classic thriller, Dial M for Murder, tours the UK in 2020 opening at Richmond Theatre on Monday 13th January 2020. The genre-defining thriller - based on Frederick Knott's stage and screen play, made world-famous by Hitchcock's iconic 1954 film - will be directed by Anthony Banks.

Helen, Alan, and Graham are told they are impaired and need fixing. As they begin to question the world around them, three powerful coming-of-age stories unfold, uniting them in a struggle against violence, ignorance and oppression. Connected through a shared past, they are transported to a crucial moment in 1880 that would impair the way the world views D/deaf people for over a century. The production premiered at Bristol Old Vic in October 2019 and now tours to seven arts venues across England.

Dartington Live will present A Long Long Time, their 2019 winter production from the internationally renowned theatre group Reckless Sleepers.

Yara Arts Group will offer the American debut of its new work 'Opera GAZ,' December 19, 20 and 22 at La MaMa, 66 East 4th Street. This opera was created by director Virlana Tkacz, who heads Yara Arts Group in New York, and the composers Roman Grygoriv and Illia Razumeiko. It features the performers of Nova Opera in Kyiv. Live performances and traditional instruments are combined with electronic music to present the story of an explosion at a futuristic gas factory that produces all the energy for the industrial world. The visually striking production is sung in English, Ukrainian and German but is universally accessible.

The Ark Theatre has announced that playwright-in-residence Stephen Fife will debut numerous works in its 2019/2020 season that include the world premiere of 'In The Mood' and a workshop production of 'Isabella in Oz.' There are many challenges when adapting a source material for the stage, even more so when your source material is an animated TV show about anthropomorphic animals. This was the challenge facing my college's Theatre Department this fall after we were commissioned to do the first live stage adaptation of the acclaimed Netflix original series BoJack Horseman.
