North Carolina Theatre Announces Changes for 2021-22 Season

North Carolina Theatre has announced changes to its upcoming 2021-22 season. NCT will return to the stage at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in May of 2021, when the season opens with On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, which is planned to be adapted with all social-distanced safety in mind.

PNC Foundation Grants $35,000 To Support North Carolina Theatre's All In Vision

North Carolina Theatre has announced its continued collaboration with the PNC Foundation and PNC's recent $35,000 grant, which will support the theatre's diversity and inclusion efforts. All In presented by PNC is the theatre's audience-development initiative designed to foster diversity and inclusion by delivering programming, partnerships, and enrichment opportunities. The PNC Foundation's support of All In will help NC Theatre organize community conversations, innovative virtual programming, educational opportunities and more, while supporting programmatic and artistic choices, in 2020-21.

NC Theatre Postpones MEMPHIS Due To COVID-19

North Carolina Theatre's production of MEMPHIS, scheduled for March 24-29, 2020 at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh, will be postponed due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). As most are likely aware, the Governor of North Carolina has asked residents to avoid large gatherings in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Raleigh Little Theatre Will Present Monica Flory's Adaptation of THE JUNGLE BOOK

Raleigh Little Theatre will present Monica Flory's adaptation of 'The Jungle Book,' based on the beloved book by Rudyard Kipling. 'The Jungle Book' is the last show in RLT's 2019-20 Family Series and runs from March 20 - April 5 in the Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre. The production will include puppets and shadow play and is directed by Judy M. Dove.
