Miscast, MCC Theater's annual gala celebration, is one of the most anticipated and exciting theater events in New York each year, where the biggest stars of stage and screen take the stage to sing songs from roles in which they would never be cast.

This year, for the first time ever, Miscast will go entirely digital, inviting in theater fans everywhere. Today we flashback to 2011, when Catch Me If You Can performed on the Bryant Park stage. Catch Me If You Can, based on the book and hit 2002 DreamWorks film of the same name directed by Stephen Spielberg with screenplay by Jeff Nathanson and book by Frank Abagnale, Jr., played for 166 performances at the Neil Simon Theatre. It starred Aaron Tveit, Kerry Butler, Tom Wopat, and Norbert Leo Butz, who won a Tony Award for his performance.

Today we rewind to 2013, when Big Fish arrived on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre, where it played for 98 performances. With music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and book by John August, the musical is based on Daniel Wallace's 1998 novel, Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions, and the 2003 film.
