Performers from across New York City will come together for Songs of Persistence: An Elizabeth Warren Musical Fundraiser on Monday, January 13th at The West End Lounge. Through songs about dreaming big, fighting hard, and persisting, they will be celebrating democracy and the importance of getting off the sidelines to fight for what you believe in. The new musical, The Crossing and the Ten Crucial Days, will present an industry reading at the Washington Crossing Park on the Delaware River in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where the titular crossing took place. Directed by Gabriel Vega Weissman (Titus Burgess in Concert), with book and lyrics by Jason Huza (It Happened in Key West) and music by John Allen Watts, the reading will take place on September 5th, 2019. With support from The Washington Crossing Park, The Ten Crucial Days Organization, and the Crossing Vineyards, the site-specific musical presentation is drawing on the local roots.

On Sunday, November 11th, Algonquin Theater Productions will present a reading of its new musical, 'The Paparazzi', music and lyrics by Al Tapper, book by Tony Sportiello, directed by Tom Herman. Some will walk to see the reading, some will take cars or subways. And some will fly from more than 2500 miles away.
Camp Broadway LLC is pleased to announce that the company has formed an alliance with T School, a prestigious, private International School in Beijing, to introduce musical theatre to their students from around the world. This Broadway/Beijing alliance commences today, Monday, October 1, when a 4-member team from Camp Broadway begins a 6-day residency at the school.
The Broadway Education Alliance just announced that The Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance will be held on Saturday, May 19 at Pearl Studios in Manhattan. This program is open to high schools located in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island, Orange and Rockland Counties, and Westchester. To be eligible, high schools must present an officially licensed production of a Broadway musical during the 2017- 2018 academic year. The Roger Rees Awards has accepted 29 schools, whose students will compete for the title of Best Actor and Best Actress. Winners of the Roger Rees Award will represent the Greater New York region at The Broadway League Foundation's Jimmy® Awards (also known as the National High School Musical Theatre Awards) in June.

Nissa Kahle will provide Musical Direction. Ethan Paulini founded the independent studio #ethancoaches in 2012 and it has since grown to include over 250 clients. From Broadway to TV, regional theatre to national tours, #ethancoaches clients are everywhere.

Ducdame Ensemble adds classical musicians and TV personalities to their SHAKESPEARE SINGS Concert on Sunday April 23rd. Founding Members Tedra Millan (PRESENT LAUGHTER, THE WOLVES) and Sam Gilroy (Showtime's BILLIONS) will co-host the celebration commemorating Shakespeare's birthday. Ethan Paulini directs, and Nissa Kahle provides the Music Direction. The event serves as a fundraiser for Ducdame Ensemble.

Producing Artistic Director, Elizabeth Flemming, and Out of the Box Theatrics, Inc., a New York based non-profit theatre company, is pleased to announce it's inaugural production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Charles Schulz's beloved comic comes to life in Clark Gesner's classic 1967 musical comedy. This fresh adaptation features additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and updated book by Michael Mayer. With iconic characters, a witty and tuneful score and and intelligent satirical dialogue, this is the perfect musical for any age. OOTB will partner with the Parks and Recreation Department of New York City and produce 2 free performances at the Frederick Douglass Playground, W. 101 and Amsterdam on Saturday, October 8 and 15 at 5:30pm.
