The Americas Film Festival of New York (TAFFNY) will return for its 12th edition this June, presenting a wide-ranging lineup of films that highlight the cultural, linguistic, and social diversity of the Americas.

The LA Phil opened its 2025 Hollywood Bowl season on June 7, 2025, with “An Evening with Hugh Jackman.” The Broadway and Hollywood star sang favorites from The Greatest Showman, The Boy from Oz, The Music Man and more alongside Thomas Wilkins, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and musicians of YOLA (Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles). 

It’s a good guess that ticket buyers walking into the Golden Gate Theatre will anticipate a rip-roaring concert of Neil Diamond's greatest hits – and the show absolutely delivers on that front.

On Friday, June 6th, I had the pleasure of seeing yet another phenomenal installment of the Downtown Cabaret Theatre's Decades in Concert series, Decades in Concert: 80S (2025). Of the three so far, this one has been my favorite!

This biographical jukebox musical is more than simply a greatest-hits concert; it paints a vibrant and reflective picture of an artist whose music is the heartbeat of many American lives.  Framed through the lens of a fictionalized therapy session, the show weaves Diamond’s introspective journey with a set list of beloved classics, from the infectious and iconic “Sweet Caroline” to the aching vulnerability of “I Am… I Said.”

Hershey Theatre announced its next lineup of Broadway touring productions for 2026, including three all-new engagements to usher in a new era following the ongoing renovation project at the historic venue. 

The stellar cast accommodates theater goers on both sides of the Diamond spectrum and by the end of the two-act musical the average music fan will be surprised by how many Diamond songs he or she knows by heart and how good some of those songs truly are.
