Following a year without live concerts, Los Ángeles Azules have announced today their long-awaited “40 Años” Tour. With more than 25 concerts around the United States, the tour will begin in Corpus Christi, TX and will visit cities such as Dallas, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, among others, in celebration of the group's 40 years' career.

Musco Center for the Arts will close off the second part of this year's virtual Heartbeat of Mexico festival on Wednesday, May 19 at 7 p.m., with an online performance of the COVID-19 Monologues, a series which memorializes the lives of people who have passed from COVID-19.

KCRW releases today a limited-edition double-vinyl compilation of curated live performances from Jason Bentley's tenure as Music Director and host of the station's flagship music program, Morning Becomes Eclectic. Live session recordings include performances by Cold War Kids, Little Dragon, Beach House, Los Lobos, and many more. The vinyl also features art designed by award-winning graphic designer Lawrence Azzerad from LAD Design.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association has announced the four conductors who will participate in the 2019/20 Dudamel Fellowship Program: Hilo Carriel, Marta Gardolinska, Enluis Montes Olivar, and Anna Rakitina. Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel, together with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, created the Dudamel Fellowship Program in 2009 to provide a unique opportunity for promising young conductors from around the world to develop their craft and enrich their musical experience through personal mentorship and participation in the LA Phil's orchestral, learning, and community programs.
