Rehearsing via zoom and then on the Storyhouse thrust stage and then outdoors in the park, productions of Merry Wives of Windsor, Pride and Prejudice and The Jungle Book open on Saturday 29 May and run until Sunday 30 August. 

Northern Stage has announced the cast for this spring's Mud Season Mystery: The Lodger, a witty new adaptation of the classic mystery, created for Zoom and performed live each night. Closing out Northern Stage's 2020-21 season, The Lodger will be performed live on Zoom starting April 14 through May 2, 2021. 

South Bay Musical Theatre (SBMT) has announced several new virtual events that will be streamed over Zoom and social media in January and February 2021. The company was among the first community theatres in the Bay Area to reinvent itself for the COVID-19 era by switching from traditionally staged musicals to a prolific schedule of online programming.

Open Book Theatre’s newest One to One Virtual Theatre, Love Space, will feel familiar to Trekkies and other sci-fi fans as it borrows and riffs on a lot of the genre’s tropes.  But it goes deeper, too.

Main Street has been offering the Pemberley plays - based on Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and written by acclaimed playwright Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon - for the last few seasons.

MISS BENNET: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY is a cheery Jane Austen tribute piece. It features the beloved characters from the famed novel Pride and Prejudice in an all new holiday story. Patrons can see Lizzie, Mary, Lydia, Jane, and of course, Mr. Darcy. Mrs. Darcy plays hostess to her sisters and some other intriguing characters during Christmas.

In November, Lifeline Theatre will be re-releasing their virtual production of Pride & Prejudice from Nov. 12 – 30. 

Staples Players co-directors David Roth (SHS '84) and Kerry Long (SHS '97) have led their resilient, dedicated troupe of thespians in producing three radio shows that audiences across the globe can enjoy for free on three Sundays this fall. October 25th (The Wizard of Oz), November 8 (Pride and Prejudice), and November 22 (It's a Wonderful Life).
